She is a former Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) enforcement attorney with wide-ranging knowledge of federal and state consumer financial laws. Maria has particular expertise advising clients on a wide range of issues related to consumer protection laws, emerging technology, data analytics and information security. She has handled numerous matters involving federal and state regulators, including the CFPB, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), several state attorneys general, and state banking agencies.
