Jason Lagria

Maryland Representative

Jason T. Lagria is a Special Assistant at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights where he coordinates investigations into violations and enforcement of our nation’s civil rights laws.

 

Prior to joining the Commission, Mr. Lagria was a Senior Staff Attorney at Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC. He began his legal career as a litigation associate with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. Mr. Lagria has a long history of community engagement and activism, including serving as National Co-Chair of KAYA: Filipino Americans for Progress from 2011 to 2013. Mr. Lagria also serves on the advocacy committee for the National Filipino American Lawyers Association.

 

Mr. Lagria graduated from George Washington University Law School and Johns Hopkins University. Raised in Houston, TX (go Rockets!), he currently lives in Bethesda, MD with his growing family.
